Black Hills Community Economic Development (BHCED) is an organization of business and civic leaders from 15 western South Dakota communities, committed to working together in strengthening the local economic climate. One of its primary missions is to administer SBA-504 loans to small business owners buying property. 

Small Business Development Center serves as a consultant to new and existing businesses. 
Procurement and Technical Assistance Center helps small business owners compete for government contracts.

West River Foundation is a revolving loan fund for small businesses in rural areas.

SCORE, formerly the Service Corps of Retired Executives, is a nonprofit association that helps small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship.
